“ Great Accommodation & Location ”

Super accommodation in a great location. Very quiet room. We had 2nd floor, room #20 facing Argyle St. Only 300 meters to Kings Cross subway statin & St Pancras Int'l Station. Very tasty breakfast offered in the morПing with choice of continental or hot English breakfast.

Good value and location

My husband and I just spent 3 nights at the Alhambra and had a nice stay overall. We stayed in a double room with shared showers and toilets down the hall, which were all kept immaculately clean. The staff was courteous and helpful and the English breakfast was very generous and quite good. The location was also very convenient and more central than I originally imagined it would be — we had no difficulty walking to sites/activities in central London (theatres, museums, cinemas, book shops), but if you’re not a walker the hotel is also well served by the tube nearby at Kings Cross/St Pancras.

Our room was very, very tiny though, and our double bed seemed barely larger than a twin. The sound of people in rooms nearby opeПing and closing their doors was also quite noisy. I wore earplugs when sleeping and would advise anyone who’s a light sleeper to do the same.

All in all however, if you’re on a tight budget then it’s an excellent place to stay — it’s no frills, but pleasant enough, and the amount of money you save on accommodation can be spent on other things, like London theatre tickets!
