June (Dreama Walker) was happy to move from her old apartment in Indiana straight to New York with job. The best part was that the job came with its own apartment. Sadly for her, when she gets there not only does the job not exist anymore but neither does the company. She was not ready to return to Indiana so people could laugh at her and the only solution that she finds is to move in with Chloe.
The problem with Chloe (Krysten Ritter) is that she “may or may not be a psychopath” by June’s words. What she is for sure is a con-artist and all-round party girl. Her previous flat mates only have big words to describe her: manipulative, deceitful, horrible, terrifying. At first she even tried to scam June into paying a higher rate, the same as the previous inhabitants of the apartment but this time around it doesn’t work for her. And the moment in which June called her bluff… that’s when things changed. Sure she still remains a cold-blooded, sarcastic b****, but somewhere along the line these two become best friends.
Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 is a spicy, ironic comedy that flavors your day in a good mood.
