Il Veranda. overlooking the lake and the gardens, is a formal diПing room where you can enjoy traditional Italian haute cuisine. The less formal Il Grill serves regional recipes under centuries-old plane trees at dinnertime. Light lunches are served at the sundeck Pool Bar, while the Bar Canova and the Terrace Bar offer cocktails, drinks and snacks.
The property comprises 25 acres of splendid gardens, whose statues and landscape have been photographed for centuries. At guest’s disposal are eight tennis courts, a squash court, a putting green, a fully-equipped gym with sauna and Turkish bath, plus a Beauty Center with a complete list of face and body treatments.
Villa d’Este boasts three heated swimming pools, while water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing or canoeing on Lake Como are experiences that should not be missed. A beautiful 18-hole golf course designed by Peter Gannon is located in Montorfano, seven miles from the hotel.
