V-Day 2009 Beneficiaries
Our performances will support the following six charities working to end violence against women locally and internationally across the disciplines of medicine, asylum and trafficking, mental health and education. We have chosen this diverse group to highlight the pervasive and insidious nature of violence against women, which affects each of our lives, regardless of gender.

Wow — well after the great snows of 2009 locked us all in the house yesterday I actually got some work done and have five minutes this morПing to update you all on the fast approaching 2009 VDAY !
A Memory A Monologue A Rant and A Prayer takes to the stage on the 17 th Feb 2009 and The Vagina Monologues on the 20th Feb 2009.
We are in intensive rehearsals now at The New Players and the shows are coming together nicely. Everything is so exciting — we have a fantastic crew and cast — what a huge team of committed people — it’s incredible. There’s a gorgeous set design which I hope will impress all too.
But firstly, we’ll be celebrating V-Day in style — we have two great events taking place on the 14 th February, raising awareness, raising money and having a good time.
